Liam Crișan is a nonprofit professional with experience in both programs and administration. As GLJ’s Development Associate, he works to implement strategic fundraising programs in support of the organization’s vision, mission, and priorities. Prior to Global Labor Justice, Liam worked at the Institute for Policy Studies and Latin America Working Group, where he conducted research on U.S. transit policy and Southern Cone politics, wrote for the Inequality.org and Foreign Policy in Focus editorials, advocated for a more just foreign policy towards Latin America, and learned the fundamentals of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) finance and development. His strong conviction in organized labor’s unique ability to advance dignity and justice worldwide brought him to Global Labor Justice’s Finance, Operations, and Development team. Liam has lived in New York, studied in Ohio and Chile, and is now based in Washington, DC. Liam graduated from Kenyon College summa cum laude with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish.
